Hey guys,
So I got a vial of flightless fruit flies from petco. The species is D Hydei. I don't know how many flies are in there but I would like to keep them alive as long as possible and even breed them. How could I achieve this? I am going to be feeding these to my bettas and african dwarf frog.
I have a 5 quart tupperware I was thinking about using. But really, I don't know anything about their bedding, what to feed them, etc. Plus how do I stop them from escaping? In the vial I have I see some type of foam or something blocking the hole so they can't get out. Anyway, if you know anything about these flies and could help me out, I'd love to hear from you. Thank you
