is there any kind of driftwood that remains afloat permanently or for at least a year?
because i'd like to strap/glue a bromeliad i saved from a small "new year's statue" onto some driftwood, but the driftwood in my tank doesn't quite reach the surface (and i'm not going to drain some water, my tank is small enough as it is ;))
any ideas, guys?

thanks, that's pretty sweet but i'm going for a more natural look so i'd prefer wood if possible
although maybe you could disguise the floating island with some terrarium cork...wait a sec, cork floats!
anyone have an idea if it floats for longer than a year?
or any procedure that could make it float for a longer period of time (maybe coating it with waterproof paint)?
