i have 2 frog fish in a 65 gallon tank one a sargasm and one a brown spot angler.
the y both were doin fine for two months but den dey both got fat a few days a go and den dey were hacking up the following day and den today they were upside down floating on top wit an air bubble in side them watsup?:eek3:

first off,
stop using den.... its horribly annoying... use english unless your from another country and dont speak it well then thats fine but seriously... theres no point in saying things like den, dey, doin, etc.
now.. on to your frogfish...
did you at any time take them out of the water?? EVEN if it was just to take them out of the bag you were acclimating them in or something.... they bascally have air trapped inside them.. go to wetwebmedia.com im pretty sure you have to hold them and message there stomach or something.... go to wetwebmedia.com and look through the FAQ's you'll find your answer there

Also, how often did you feed them? Many people theorize that over feeding is a leading cause of death in frogfish. They can'y digest the food fast enuff and it causes them to bloat and die. How was their water quality? A while back there was a thread on grimreefers.com frogfish forum about a warty gulping air on its own. It was theorized that the frogfish may have done this because of bad water quality (They are very sensitive to nitrates- can't be more than 25ppm) Wild forgfish have been known to gulp air in order to swim long distences to escape a reef with poor water quality.

I hope this helps, you may be able to get more info at the grimreefers.com frogfish forum.
