Is there any type of frozen food that continues to float even through thawing?

(Asking question for my silver arowana, he's about 4-5" and I need to find something to feed him ASAP)

Many LFS sell floating frozen cubes. I buy a variety pack at my LFS that includes squid, bloodworm, mysis shrimp, and algae cubes, among others. I don't have a bag now, or I'd tell you what it's called.

My LFS sells frozen bloodworm cubes, and I know for a fact those don't float...

I need something that still floats after it thaws and splits apart.

I feed tilapia fillet to my stingrays and naturally it doesn't float but both of my silver aro's will go down and grab it up with no problems

I'm guessing you want it to float so your aro does not get droop eye.
All of my frozen fish meats float such as tilapia, bass, trout, shrimp, etc.
If none of those are floating for you then you can just get feeder tongs and hold the food at the surface.
Why don't you try feeding floating pellets such as hikari and NLS.
When food thaws it wont float, Unless you cut the meat into very thin pieces then it might.
Hope this helped

Remember guys, it's a 4" Arowana we are talking about here, he's a bit shy. So tongs/hand feeding isn't an option.

calamari floats after thawing MOST of the time i think it depends on what piece it is. my cariba devour pretty quickly... but when I do calamari it stays afloat till they drag it down.
