my florida/spotted gar 8" is floating belly up, it feels like an air bubble is trapped inside him.. he seems paralyzed from the mid body section and down.. I expect him to pass very soon if I do not help him myself..
is there anyone who has actually managed to save a floater and if so, how? he "broke" yesterday when going for a shrimp 0.5 sec after grabbing the shrimp he just let go of it, went into spasms and lost all control of his swimming.. he got better for 5-10 hours (cannot tell how long since I was asleep) and when I woke up he was floating belly up mildly bloated.. so, any last resort solutions?
