there are floating particles in my aquarium. I’ve been doing 60% water changes weekly. I added filter floss to my filters. It started when I added a powerhead but not sure if it’s related. Been 2 weeks now and it’s really frustrating me.

Could be stirring up debris in the substrate, really stir up the substrate every wc and it should clear up.
Should be fine, just mix the substrate really well so that particulates get into the water column.
One thing i do when theres a bit of particles in the water is use half a soda bottle with filterfloss on my powerhead for a few hrs (usually overnight) should clear your water right up
Does it clear up between water changes? What type of filters are you running? I have seen threads in the past where it seemed like mineral deposits were building up on the hose or pvc pipe walls. Once the filters were turned back on some of the build up would be flushed into the tank. The powerhead may just be keeping it stirred up longer.
It gets a little better when I do water changes but doesn’t go away. And I have 2 canister, an Fx5 and a sunsun 304B plumbed into a drilled tank with overflows
