Somewhere
If a flood where to acure in your state. What would you do with your fish?

well i doubt they would be able to live in a bucket for very long at the shelter, so i guess id take my chances with them in a bucket on higher ground in the house.

D

if werent huge monsters, scrub the the bath out and make sure all the soap is gone then take tank water and bobs your uncle, a small pool for the fishes on the first floor lol.

I live in a 2nd floor apartment in a place that sits 1700ft above sea level. If we get a flood, I need to build an ark. As for my fish, well could try the battery powered air pumps ( but I think my fish might have a better chance of survival than I do if we flood:nilly:).

I would put on a snorkle and fins and swim with them in my basement.

Maybe me and the Red Devil could challenge each other for the territory of the couch area.

I'd expect to move the tanks to top floors if flooding is quite a frequent occurrence although the unexpected is beyond your control. We once had a super typhoon hit our place last year unexpectedly. Fortunately, my area rarely gets any floods but the others were unfortunate. I saw horrifying photos of their tanks covered in muddy water and stories of their flowerhorns dead or escaping. The super typhoon is very rare in my area which is why I used the word "unexpected" to describe my experience. It was the first time rampaging waters hit my province due to the abnormal heavy rainfall amounting to a month in a day.
