  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
How are you still online? Hope everything is OK.

heard the weather was horrible over there. glad i emmigrated though we havent had it under 25 for 3-4wks. tonight is going to be 23

There are a lot of threads on here, about surviving power outages. I think we have it good compared to those who have the hurricanes etc on the other side of the pond. There's a lot of info there to make sure you do your best to keep them going. Saw some of the flooding on the news. Mental. I'm on high ground so I think I'll be ok, but the weather has been terrible. Flood warnings for the entire of the UK... no wind to take the rain away.

We are very far away from a river and quite high, so that shouldn't be an issue. But i'm wanting to keep the tanks going. I've raised the tempreture to 90f so if the power goes it will take longer to cool down. It is incredibley bad. I'm not gonna go to school i'm staying home with my tanks. LOL.

Me and my big mouth. The winds have hit. Electric keeps going off for a couple of seconds at a time. Its mucking up my filters grrrr!!!!
I wonder if it will do them harm...

I need electricity, I have too many animals that depend on it :nilly:

get out your battery operated air pumps and sponge filters if you have them.

Yeah.... I'm not too prepared for power outages... I can't even remember the last time I had one. I blame global warming!
