floor boards instead of plywood

iam thinking about building a pond 7ft x 3.5 x 3ft , i thinking of making a stud wall and i was thinking could i use floorboards instead of plywood inside the pond. cheaper. the floorboads are 18mm thick

I dont see why not. Depending how far the studs are spaced. With 549 gallons your looking at something about 4350+lbs.
24.5sqft so 178lbs per sq ft. I would personally space the studs 12" on center to avoid any potential sagging unless it would be sitting on a floor and not studs.

that what iam going to do , every ft put a stud there ,and us it for the walls too and i am thinking of rasing the floor on the pond so that i can put insulation there , i thinking of using foam. it save a lot of money only cost £30
