A Florida sting ray is the same species as an Atlantic, just under a different common name,
These fish can and do live in completely fresh water, DOES ANYONE KNOW where I can get a FRESHWATER Florida stingray, that is a BABY, between 2 and 5 inches in wingspan preferably? If you do, please reply to this. PLEASE!??

These rays are not freshwater rays.... they can live in freshwater by producing more urin. They increase thier urin output by 10X in order to do it. I would keep them in brackish or fully salt water. Otherwise if you go by the need to have a 150 gallon min. tank size for a normal ray pup the atlantic would need a 1500 gallon tank. I have never seen one kept in captivity in freshwater for over a year.
