Nice fish, red snappies and cobes...YUM YUM YUM YUM YUM!!! I love to eat those snapper...

Why did you keep the LMB? They taste like doody compared to the other fish you caught.

Ooo, I haven't caught a snapper like that in a loooong time. Nice ^_^

the bass taste pretty good when prepared right and we caught a mess of those. we froze the bass for a fish fry in the spring. but you are right, they dont hold a candle to those snappers. those were delicious. wasted no time digging into those. the snapper won the big fish pot on our boat too. just over 10 pounds!

how big was that gar. Looks like if would have been big enough for a big catch citation. its gotta be 28" or 5 pounds...
n the bass too they have to be 24" or 7 pounds...

the gar was released. florida requires bass to be 16" to keep. BUT, the smallest one we kept was about 4 lbs. most in the 4.5 - 6 range.

lmao they should make that rule 20" those bass are beasts!

excellent pics! Looks like you had a great trip. I would love to go on fishing trip down there.
