I am hoping to go down to florida and do some fishing after the school year is up and i was looking at some stuff and i saw people catch clown knives down there so anyone from florida ever caught one? sounds like theyre not that common but id like to catch one.

i dont know much about it but they are suposedly in only a few lakes. but anywho i cant wait to go down to florida. gonna be a while because school just started but i cant wait!
os??? they have knife fish in there? i fish there all the time with shrimp, worms, top water everything i've never cought a knife.
Are you fishing at night?
Set-up 3-4 cane poles so they reach out over the bank, use a bobber and #6-8 hook w/piece of shimp. Very the depth of each one from 6"-2' under the float till you find out where they're biting. No splashing around.
