Florida Fishing

Well im currently in Deerfield beach with my grandparents for 2 weeks. Im looking for some good places to fish (freshwater) for mainly peacock bass/cichlids. Any of you guys down here? i dont know of any good places to go so im open to anything, help me out.

go west on sample and youll hit a road state rd 7 or 441 behind that road there is a walmart and by the parking lot there is a few lakes with gar sh peas and other exotics

Or you could just come over and drop your rod in my aquarium and get some orinos.
