On petsolutions.com they have a florida freshwater stingray. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience keeping these guys and what the care is for them. It says that they only get to a disk sizze of 14" but i'm not sure if thats right. Any info will help.

THANKS!!!

From everything I have read about this ray it really is not a freshwater ray, it comes into fresh water to breed but primarily stays in salt water. This type of ray if kept in fresh water produces a HUGE amount of urea and would require an even bigger tank and filtration than a larger full fresh water specimen. I could be wrong on this and would like to hear from some other more advanced ray keepers.

Crister.... are you serious!? every1 has said to read the stickies. you posting every other question you have can be read on the stickies.... cmon man, we want to help but take some time and research. you will find what you need by reading and doing the 5-10mins research, whereas posting every little question u have and waiting 3-mins to an hour to get an answer...
