Florida gar and silver sides and krill

Have two Florida gar about 12 inches and 10inches. Going to try and get them off rosy reds. Have frozen krill and silver sides . Wondered if any one uses seachem garlic guard for an enhancer or just put the food in there with no flavor?

I use kents garlic xtreme and it works great as a food attractant. I've been having issues getting one of my gar to switch from ghost shrimp to other options. The other doesn't mind what it eats.

I couldn't find Kents around me
I'm going to try sea chemical see how it goes I may run into the same problem you have one eats one don't we shall see

I got lucky, just started dumping in frozen and eventually they took it. After that it was an easy transition to carnisticks.

It definitely helped to have some teacher fish in there.

Did you not give them food for a few days?

Occasionally I would try starving for a few days but nothing too drawn out.

Got the bigger one to eat a silver side. Other one has no interest yet. Eventually it will probably work out though.
