just thinking that in the furture when i build more tanks, i would like to keep one of these guys. anyone have good lucj with feeding dead foods? im not big into the live feeding if i dont have to, but as far as i kno most people with gars i kno give mainly live. is it quite difficult to get them on fresh dead stuff?

in the first hour of having my 12" florida in my tank he ate market shrimp, cichlid pellets, earthworms and pieces of seabass. proboably the easiest fish i have ever feed. the 2nd day i had him i could hand feed him. scary but cool.
my gar was the most gentle fish. he would eat krill and shrimp from my hands. he would chase the shrimp and nosedive into the bottom sometimes lol
i'm looking to start more tanks ,the stores don't have a big selection, so i'm asking if anyone knows good aggressive freshwater fish
