hi im john i have 2 florida gar around 5inches and im feeding them beef heart but they are not eating since 3 days so what should i do and i dont want them to eat live feed bcoz its costly and fish will get infected by disease after eaten so help me and tell me how to train them to eat to beefheart and how many days can they live without food so please tell me bcoz its first time i buyed this fish......

I'm gonna tell you what I was told. When small feed live feeders but treat them for disease first. Around 10-12 inches start training to take frozen food and pellets

at this size, i'd suggest worrying about getting the fish to eat first and parasites from feeders second. alternatively, you can quarantine feeders & gutload them prior to feeding them to your gar. however, as the gar is under 8" and should have food accessible to it 24/7, i would recommend you 1) get it back on track by providing feeders, 2) stock feeders in quarantine + gutload and maintain a constant stock until the gar is at least 8", 3) start converting the gar off live foods when it's hit 8". would also advise avoiding foods such as beef and stick to a seafood based diet of shrimp/fillet/pellets.

@OP (John?)

Where in India are you based?

There are quite a few MFKers from India who can possibly help you get good (clean) feeders.

I am based in Bombay (Mumbai).

(Please follow Alex's advice.)

Good luck,
