Okay so I'm building a 500 gallon tank. Dimensions are 94" long 40" wide and 30" tall. The stock will be
10- bristlenose plecos
3-oscars
3- dempseys
3- jags
3- convicts
2- Texas
2- cuban
2- red devil
2- firemouth
2- green terror
4- blood parrots
I know that the stock is "lame" and not "cool" but these are some of my most favorite fish. There will be over 200 caves and a bunch of plants and hiding places. Aggression will be really high and I know that. I'm looking for a Gar or an arowana to add. My favorite looking of these options are Florida Gar, jardini arowana, and silver arowana. Any other cool looking options that look like these? No comments on changing any of the stock please. I am very fond of these fish and id like to keep the stocks according to my decisions. Also are there any large cichlids other than the ones listed I can add? The convicts and the firemouths might be moved to a seperate tank if too bullied. I'll buy the convicts and firemouths larger than other fish going in there. Or ill grow them out. Any other good choices to go with these fish? I prefer large aggressive cichlids.
