FLORIDA GAR LOVE.....

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i think it is actually the larger one trying to show his dominancy. whenever i introduce a new fish to my tank, my larger flrorida displays similar behavior. he never bites or anything and it usually goes away after a few days.

Actually that is what i think too.

gars will huddle up like that quite frequently, regardless of size and often even disposition...it's quite common. it's a social interaction of sorts, but what exactly we don't know yet--

my trop and florida always rub sides while swimming. i figured it was the florida just letting the trop know who is the dominant one.
