Florida gar question?

hey guys, i have a 10-11 inch florida gar in a 40 gallon breeder with 10 inch senegal and a 4 inch sunfish. my gar will swim around and sorta like bend his back sides ways over and over again for a few moments at a time. anyone know why he might be doign this? im getting them a 75 this week. let me know what you guys think, thanks

Does it ever stay like that? You may want to check your water parameters, specifically for ammonia.

no its not the water, my water is fine, i test it every day. do water changes every week.

Do you have numbers for your water?

Is the gar making an "S" like shape when it is bending?
