Has anyone ever kept one of these??? There is one at the petsore I work at. Can they be trained to take frozen food (dont want him to get sick due to eating feeders)any other information that you can give me would be much appreciated, I want it to stay healthy

you need a really big tank or pond if you prefer

mine eats froven fish but they are very tough as far as disease

watch out when you clean they do bite if trained to eat frozen foods

I used to have 2 -6" florida gars and i trained them to eat smelt that i got cheap at the grocery store, it worked for me

I finally got mines to eat raw shrimp and hikari pellets.
