What else can you feed Florida gars besides feeders?

they will eat almost anything. read through a few threads on here and you should find your answers. mine go crazy over shrimp.

u can try pellets (ie. hikari massivore) or even flakey food at young ages. another alternative when they grow bigger is to buy fish meat/chicken meat from the supermarket, chop it up to small pieces and feed.! they can eat anything man. no worries. try to avoid live food cause there is more chance of disease.
