Florida gars rubbing against each other ????

So as the title says my two Florida gar have been rubbing against each other for most of the evening and wen there not doing that there chasing each other any ideas doesn't look aggressive it's like there in love rubbing there noses on each other's back ends the one will rub up against the other they will then swim to the other end of the tank and repeat the process any ideas what they could be doing

This is pretty normal behaviour with gars kept in groups. It a sort of dominance display between the fish. Worst I have had happen is some shredded fins that usually heal up in no time.

couple also be breeding behaviour, but given how rare this is in captivity it is not likely.
