Florida or Spotted gar, take 2.

Last time i asked there was some doubt about what kind of gar i have.
Now its a bit bigger and ready for new photos. Hope it can help to answer my question.

Sorry for the poor quality pics, but my cam is broken so have to my phone.

If they were store bought they are more than likely Florida Gar, but they are definitely Florida/Spotteds (one or the other)...nearly impossible to differentiate the two at any size (without killing them or knowing their locality info). If the fish were wild caught then the locality info should be enough to ID them.

It is either Oculatus, Platyrhincus or Oculatus x Platyrhincus really can not go any further than that without detailed examination of the fish.

rest assured the only sure thing is that it is a Florida/spotted. my opinion leans toward Florida heavily, with quite a bit of doubt that it would be a spotted.--
