NY
Hey everyone, I have been thinking of moving to Florida, for a number of reasons. Mostly because I'm tired of winter. I know many of you live in or visit Florida and was wondering if you could give some information on the state. Pro's, con's, cost of living, weather...anything you feel like shareing. Thanks in advance.

pros: hot ass girls, beaches, FISHING, hot, dining, fun.
cons:old peple, hurricanes, power outages, old people at the beach, humid, old people driving slow.

pm joel... he move and is comming back lolol

i have a buddy, most of his family is here with him.
there from ny,they must like it better, there still here.
a few of them tried going back to ny but always come back lol.

pros:no snow-enuff for me.never even seen it :D
fishing everywhere, nice beaches, nice weather"winters never under the 30,s down south"only a week or 2",flat ground, heat thins your blood, lots of amusement parks and such

[DON'T DO IT MAN!! like california you can't keep fish!/QUOTE]
umm,ok.

I live in FL and I loveeessss it. It does get cool here and maybe once or twice a year its cold (to fl standards lol). There pro's are everything (there are just as many old people as there are young people.. so its not that bad - just dont move to palm coast!) keeping fish here isnt that bad at all we get decent stuff here alot so I wouldnt worry about that. The only cons to here is that it does get pretty humid in summer, a big chunk of the year prob. feels like summer. On xmas day dont expect it to be freezing. Hurricanes when they do cause damage. Power outages usually cuased by hurricanes (unless you live on a crappy transformer section). Lots of rain. We drive bad. Thats about it. I LOVEEEEEEEEE FL!!! XD its awesome... just depends on where you go.

As somebody once said, "Wherever you go, there you are".

It can only be as good as you make it to be.

I moved down here in 1981 and stayed ever since. The fishing ain't bad either. :D

In my opinion it's all a matter of conditioning one's mind to accept and make the most of whatever situation comes up. And, yes, I survived Hurricane Andrew. Disasters may happen anywhere. It's how you proact, prepare, plan, execute, and react that may determine a non-disastrous outcome.
