well i just got back from the lfs and they had a tank full of "florida rays", they are greyish, tan color and a pointed nose... just wanted to know if these guys are fully FW or have to be brackish sooner or later...

Do a quick search on Sabina or Atlantic rays. There are a few threads going.
Short version, they don't do well in freshwater, and there are a lot of incorrect 'facts' out there telling people to keep them that way since there is an isolated population in 4 lakes in FL. They are by most aspects a marine animal.
