Pseudemys nelsoni.

This species is supposedly a strict herbivore with young turtles also feeding on insect larvae.

Does anyone have any experience with this species in aquaria? If so, how do they react to fish maintained in the same aquarium?

I have 4, 3 males and one female, they are generaly very peacefull turtles and males even tolerate each other. You are rigth in that they are mainly herbivors and mines diet is based uppon dark leafys and other vegetables, but its also important to include general turtle and fish pellets to round it up. I would say they should pretty much compatible with peacfull fish too big and fast to eat, but only time should tell, I only keep mine with other turts. River cooters Pseudemys concinna have a very similar laid back behavior.
