Florida spotted gar

I have a juvenile florida spotted gar, about 7" long. He is wild caught. the only thing he eats right now are small feeders. Ive heard of weaning them off of live food. but what sort of non living food, should i feed him.

I froze feeders or you can get frozen silverside at the LPS. once he gets to the habbit of eatting stuff already dead you can try alot of foods! Mine ate marken raw shrimp and mice ( frozen) at 7inch he should be able to eat pinkys or fuzzys.

silversides also try pellets usually they switch when the get some size to them
