Florida Sturgeon

I cant find any info about these. They have them at my LFS for $25 I think they are sweet looking. They swim around the tank like sharks. Thanks

where you located? they grow huge dude real freaking huge and i beleve they get decent sized pretty fast.

Do you know the species? If they are natives they might be Pallids which reach around five feet and can hit the one foot mark in a year.

I'll bet that they're European sterlets. Most of the natives are endangered, and the few that aren't are primarily SW and get GIGANTIC... but, even the SW species venture into FW for assorted reasons, including breeding.
