I'm trying to raise funds to pay for GAS!!!! for my up and coming Florida trip, so I am offering some things at special prices.
I do *not* use those cheap paper/bubble envelopes. I use boxes to avoid crushing.
First up, baby Rose of Sharon bushes (Hibiscus syriacus) GORGEOUS big bush (Can be trained into a tree) or great for Bonsai usage. This variety has lavender flowers with a wine interior. Flowers start (and cover the bush!) in July and last for about a month. Quite a breathtaking sight! These are seedlings that have already overwintered outside. Very cold hardy. Right now they are inches tall, and are good, steady growers.
Get 5 for $20 shipped!
Get 10 for $35 shipped!
Second up, my Pink Wisteria (Wisteria floribunda Rosea) has been adventurous and sent out a long vine along the ground, rooting at sections, sending up new growth from each. This is an excellent short-cut to getting a blooming-size Wisteria (PINK flowers) in a shorter time than buying a seedling.
There are probably 3 to 10 rooted segments - I have not checked yet - but if you buy this, you will get the entire length, with any and all rooted sections. They are wonderful for covering a fence or unsightly area. Very cold hardy. Flowers in mid spring. For one price of $50 shipped, you will get whatever has rooted itself into the ground. For your convenience, I will cut them accordingly, with rooted sections at one end. I also have a "Black Dragon" variety (with very intense dark purple blooms) IF this has any rooted shoots, I will include those as well and label them.
Next up - Ornamental Strawberries - HOT LIPS! This variety has inch - wide HOT PINK flowers that start in mid June and persist to July. Sometimes you will get edible strawberries if the birds or slugs don't get them first, but not always. This is a wonderful groundcover, low care, and spreads fast to cover those bare areas of poor (or good) soil. Even sandy soils.
3 clumps for $20 shipped. (A clump is a rooted plant, usually with some side shoots, but some not.) BONUS!!! There are a few of the extremely rare LIGHT PINK variety in my lot, I may or may not surprise you with one.
Last but not least: Wild violets! These are rhizomatous plants that spread rapidly, hence their use as a popular groundcover, with a twist. They get big! Mature leaves are several inches wide, and a good sized clump can span a foot in circumference. These bloom early to mid spring with lovely flowers. You will get one of, or a mix of, the following colors: Purple, Light Lavender, White, or White and Purple. You will get a "mess" of rhizomes (like bulbs with roots on them) - around 20 of them, I am generous with these
Each package will run $20 shipped.
I think that's about it for now. Don't miss out on some awesome deals - I just want to make sure I don't run out of gas.... heh.
I take paypal, checks, money orders, or cash. Easy enough huh?
Thank you for the interest.
