I was thinking of catching wild flounder and keeping them in a 55gal. tank. Would this work and how should I transport them or what should I carry them in? They have to go in a boat witch is a 20 min. bumpy ride to the boat launch then a 40 min. drive.

i'm assuming there SW flounder?

I'd transport them in a large esky(container) with an air pump, have a lid on the esky to keep it dark to reduce stress...... and acclimatise them slowly to your tank.
