i have a 375 gallon aquarium with a huge trickle filter. How many gph should I run through the sump? The bioballs chamber will have a dedicated closed loop fed off the return pump as well.

Something like a reeflo dart would be perfect who h can be dialed back if needed for even lower power usage. Fronts don't like water movement so I had to build some homemade spray bars to put on my returns in the tank to disperse the water flow over a larger area. They just all hid behind a large rock till I did that, literally came out and swam around as soon as I did it.

Thanks! I'm planning on a submersible pump to keep the area less crowded, and to keep heat in the tank so the heaters run less.

Depending on which camp you fall in (as a saltwater guy!) The ecotech vectors m1 would be good or one of the jebao dct15000 would be great. I personally use the jebao dc pumps in my smaller tanks and love them.

Yea, pretty much. 3-5 seems to be the going rate. I put about 6x through mine but it's probably more like 3 or 4x with those spray bars. I would love to have a way to measure actual output.

Now to find a new photo hosting site since Photobucket got greedy.
