just put my big fish in with it because i couldnt keep him in my hex tank anymore since he jumped out.now its paired up with it and the colors changed drasticly is she stressed or just about to breed thanks theese are before and after pics

No it is female and is in breeding coloring right now looks like it will be breeding with your Texas there you should get some okay fry from that

She will lay any where from like 500 too 1000 and if they are fertile around the third day they should be visible black dots (the fry) that you can see threw the eggs

I would say you got a real good chance they will be though, because the Texas is pure breed. So you know he is fertile and normally 9 out of 10 times it is the male FH's that are sterile not the females.
