Hi,
3 weeks ago, my FH stopped eating and has white stringy poop. After a week, I found out it might be Hexa, so I started treating him with anti-parasite liquid medicine (1 cap/10 gallon). After 4 days, no improvement. He still does not eat and has white poop. I changed his medication to General API cure. First 2 days less poop, lesser poop on the next 2 days. Come Sunday-Thursday, he has no poop at all! I thought the medicine was effective, but I noticed his belly got bigger. I made a research about big belly and this might be a sign of dropsy. I've also read somewhere that a 3% magna solution is effective for treating Hexa. I tried this medication Thursday night via syringe since he's not eating. Friday morning, he let out a big poop. Last night, I administered the 3% magna again, then today another big poop. I am not sure if I would be happy since his belly has gotten small. So I guess dropsy is out of the question? Here are his pic before getting sick, and his white poop. The bluish color is due to his overhead lighting.
