Ok so my female red dragon flower horn laid about 700 eggs last night. Not sure if the male blue dragon has fertilized any yet but i was wondering what it means when an eggs turns white from it's previous pink...About 20 of the eggs haved turned white mean while hundreds remain pink...Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks:thumbsup:

First off, CONGRATULATIONS...Mostly likely a fungus problem...There should be a constant water flow over the eggs...It's not your fault...Happens a lot....The female can't save them all...

delgado its possible.

congratz!!! my 4in blue rajah has had 2 spawns this month of around 100, but after a couple days they turn white and disappear, guess the male is one of the sterile strains...current flow should push the sperm thru the divider (if you use one) and onto the eggs. best of luck to you.

out of the many eggs that she laid i see only 5 squiggilies in the corner of the tank that she seems to be protecting so i don't really know

wow FH protecting its kids. i never knew that could happen. (i never heard of it happen)
