Looks like you need to start treating with something. Is he or she bloated at all?? Kinda looks like it a little, start with salt, if you feel its bad I would treat with pimafix, has always taken care or my jacks or anyone that is in a similar condition.

What are your water perameters? Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate. What is your maintance schedule? Water changes & % at each change. Filter maintance ect. How often do you feed? What is the water temperature? These questions are importane in trying to make a correct diagnosis. At first glance it sounds like Nitrite Poisoning. You can try a 25 % water change, add additional airation to the tank and add aquarium salt at 2 teaspoons per Ten gallons of water. I suspect water quality to be the cause but we will be able to help you better if you answer the questions I asked.

He swims normally, also comes aggressively on finger. Have reduced his feeding to one time in day with xo hump head.
As he is behaving strange...
Only problem is , he has stopped roaming in tank just go to top and float there only.
SIZE/age============= 1 year old and 8 inches log thai silk
Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate === Doon Knw :-(
maintance schedule ====== Full water change once a week, Change of 25 to 30 % water each second/third day.
Top Filter cleaning======= Every second third day.... (activated carbon and ceramic rings, sponge)
Tank Temp =========== 28 degree Cel.
Food=============== Xo Humpy Head twice day and goat heart one time.

Thnx

You should get a test kit so you can check your water perameters. I see you say you clean your filter quite often. A 25 to 30% water change every couple of days is great a complete filter cleanning is not. If you replace or clean your filter medium too often your tank will be constantly cycling. I would clean the filter every couple of weeks by rinsing the sponge and ceramic rings in a bucket filled with some tank water. If you are doing water changes every couple of days you don't need to use actavated carbon at all. I only use carbon if I need to remove meds from the tank and then only for a day or two. From what you are saying I belive this problem to be water related as I originally suspected. I would take some tank water to a LFS and have it tested if that's possibile, if not do a water change add the aquarium salt and increase airation. Do not feed the fish for a few days. Let us know how you make out.

Did you get your water tested? Did you do the things I suggested? Increased airation, water change, salt? You could also get your tap water tested so you have a base line and you'll know what's going into the tank. At this point I don't have any more advice for you other than get your water tested and post the results.

Tom has said it all, already.

You must be constantly recucling your tank, compounded by over feeding.

Do not feed heart. Fish do not fare well with mammallian protein.
