i was also wondering is there a way of improving a lower grade colour by crossing it with a midas or female festae as i have 4 female festaes and was wondering what to cross them with to make a nice fish combo any sujestions

to make your breed better, you gotta find a mate that's better than what you have. I don't suggest you breed to any of those you mentioned. They've been tried and are no good. If you breed your FH to a pure breed, the pure breed gene is strong and kicks in a lot.Try to invest in something nice when you feel ready to breed em.. Don't waste your time and the fishs' lives that you will bring into the world. GL

what if i use a fgire head carpintus midas or texas would any of those work

I'd just try and get some higher quality FHs and start from there.

HQ fish go for a lot, maybe the best thing for you is to get some fry. Cheaper shipping, and the difference in price between a 2-3" fry and a grown fish would be huge.
