Hi have a few questions about my new 4'' female flowerhorn that need answering please. Here they are:
1) why does she keep digging holes in the gravel even when i took the 4'' male oscar away from her?
2) is she lonely?
3) how do i make her kok( nuchal hump) grow?
4) shall i put the male oscar back in?
5) why is she not eating much?

1, Female or male digs holes to be right at home, to get more comfortable.
2, female are lonely during mating time otherwise male and female will try to beat each other up, very much like humane before and after sex
3, female do not get large huchal hump.
4, If you put the male oscar in and if the female is bigger, you will have a good chance that the female will go after him. He is intruding into her territory now.
5, I can't answer that as it can be lots of reasons. One come to mind is water quality.
