Okay so a while back i bought a sb flowerhorn online and the fish arrived almost dead but after a while it made it.
Everything seemed normal until 2 weeks ago the fish started to swim funny.
He eats chases the severums like nothing happens but most of the time he swims weird.
Forgive the water with the floating particles but the bichirs are messy eaters and i had just feed them.

Not a good sign. Probably not your fault. They are so inbred that they develop problems very very easily. Sometimes you can do pretty much everything right and things will still go wrong. Even just keeping them with other fish can make them get sick and waste away for no reason... Once they past a certain point there is no coming back. I had a flowerhorn develop that swimming issue. He never got better. He lived for years doing that. Till the point he couldn’t barely swim. And still lived a couple years after that. Was sad seeing him just lie there till we came around, but otherwise he was fine and lived pretty long.

At this point i don't know if euthanasia is the best option.

My jack had gotten swim bladders disease from poor diet (bloodworms) I couldn't get her off of... that was my fault... like ECW ECW stated... flowerhorns are at a huge disadvantage health wise from the get go now. I gave my jack a few weeks time to see if I could get her better... try putting the FH in a tank with low water level to force him To swim upright and try feeding some peas... maybe will help. I ended up euthanizing the jack
Good luck man

he seems to far gone. I feel bad but at this point if there is no cure i will have to euthanize him.
