I'm in CA . He looks like very high quality . I bought my red Dragon for 150.. I wouldn't keep him with other fish just to protect his scales and fins. I raised my first FH in a 30 gallon and just recentlymoved him to a 80 G. Keep the PH more acidic. They are easy to care for in my opinion
