flowerhorn and jack dempsey tankmates?

I just bought a juvinile dempsey to put in with my flowerhorn which is about 1.5''. The flowerhorn constantly chases and attacks the dempsey. Is there anything I can do to stop this or will it stop eventually?

get rid of the dempsey because it will never stop untill the FH kills it

or you could get a divider if you really want the fish

lol.I know what you mean.My dempsey bullies a 6" oscar when the dempsey itself is only 3".

Are you the guy with a JD and a FlowerHorn in a 55 gallon tank? Like I said before, the FH will eventually be too big for your tank and will kill everyone and everything else in it along the way. Good luck.

unless you have a giant aquarium or a pond you need a divider. even then your fish will need a big tank since your fish will only have half a tank especialy if you only got a 55g. FH need 75gs to themselves just so yu know.
