you are actually making them hate each other.. If you're trying to breed them, that is not the right way.. The Midas is too young anyway. They need to be separated. lol you should know by now.

Which is why they are divided again, they wernt showing agression through the divider and I hate that thing so I tried. Oh well they are seperate again
If they do eventually do the do you will get what I call "Devilhorn" This is what the good ones will look like
The 1st 2 are brothers from a creamsicle midas and a male zz the other is from a male midevil and a female zz
the pic in my avatar is similar it was sold as a thai silk parrot but shows the same characteristics of the others. The red devil and midas gene is really dominant so next to none of the growouts will have pattern and will look like lil red devils but there will be a few that look cool you just have to be very careful on the ones u pick
I would keep the divider up until you see both fish showing breeding behavior i.e head shaking, digging and fanning b4 you put them together
I wondered about hybridizing these two fish. I have a big 12" male creamsicle midas and what I believe to be a female red dragon flowerhorn. The male is in a 90 gallon by himself but I didn't know when the female put on more size if it would be worth trying to breed them. Nice looking fish btw Nitro Demp. What sized tank are they in?
