Canada eh?
Ok so i have a 5" Flowerhorn in a 60g tank: (48x12x24) With a supper strong Powerhead, and a ridiculous amount of filtration.

My question is, do you think i can put a common pleco in there with him? This is his permanent tank so i know its ok for now but once hes 14-15 inches i mean?? :nilly:

He should be fine after he gets beat on for a couple days by the flowerhorn. Do you want him in there to clean because they produce so much waste and you can see it everywhere!

15" fish in a 12" deep tank. What do you think?

Pending on your horn, Introducing anything might be trouble at this point. 60gal is about the absolute smallest size tank you want to keep a full grown FH in.

I had a 10in pleco for a year in an 80gal. After that year he was 19in. and I felt bad for him because he didnt have the space he deserved so I gave him away. Common plecs are giant monster pooping machines.

If you really want a plec you can try a smaller specie. Make sure it has a place to hide so the horn cant bite him constantly. Maybee a bristlenose or some other smaller cat.

I was unaware of the mass amount of wast they produce. Im a clean water freak so for this reason iv decided to definitely not get a pleco at all. :grinno:

He will live alone! well ... i had another brain fart  what about a apple snail>??
