i wonder can you keep a leo stingray with flowerhorn cichlid in a 180 gal when there in there juvenile stage ill upgrade it when it get bigger

The flowerhorn may pick on the ray. I wouldn't risk it

ok but which fish do you think is better freshwater stingray or flowerhorn which one will you prefer

Rays get my vote. Not a real Flowerhorn guy, But the Thai Silks are looking good. Now, If the breeders of the Silks can make a red one....I'll take 5 please.

I would be very carefull..it all depends on the indivual temperment of the flowerhorn obviously but it could go wrong specially in a small tank..a good freind of mine had a flowerhorn take the eye of one of his rays..it all comes down to if you want to take the risk or not.

These Flowerhorns are a man made hybrid, two fishes that originate from Central America,in most cases the main fish used in this hybridization is the Trimaculatum, this is often crossed with the Synspilum or firehead cichlid as it is often refered too, both fish are extremely beautiful but their dispositions leave much to be desired, especially the former.....i wouldnt take the risk but its down to the individual, also whether that person can afford it from a financial point of view if it goes horribly wrong.
In my eyes such fish don't belong in a tank with such a majestic creature as a Stingray but each to their own hey!
