Flowerhorn breeding with other fry in tank..?

Ok the pair in the breeding section are breeding again, but there still in the same tank with the fry that just hatched 2 weeks ago lol... this batch(2nd) I wanted the parents to raise them because a good amount died from the first batch when the parents were removed lol so far i dont see a decrease in fry but there breeding again, so am thinking they might eat them......???

what do you think will happen?

I notice the female still catching them and bring them back to the clay pot lol but they just swim away doing there own thing, she also crushes up the pellets for them. BUT her tube is down(so is the males) they have already cleaned the bowl lol..

I think I would try to suck those babies out (the old ones). I mean unless you think you'll have enough from just one batch. Two batches will probably be 500+ fry... right?

you should seperate the babies.
my convicts turned on there fry as soon as they layed another batch

hey did they lay again? i kinda in same scenario, with some red texas project. they have fry still, but her tube is out agian, and should i go ahead a remove the fry? i just don't want to lose the fry. took them 4 breedings to at least give me some live fries. the fry are still very small, but are defiantly about ready to pull. well any insight would help, i was just wondering on yours.

I would take out the old fry and put them in a different tank because if you dont, the parents will eat them. you should suck the fry with a hose, that way you get all of them. this is what i do with every batch.

yeah he took to long to respond, i went ahead and removed the fries.
