My alkalinity is low which I have been treating, nitrates are a bit high but I am never able to get that under control. Could this all be related?? Halp!

Hidan Jack Dempsey MFK Member Jan 4, 2018 143 66 31 43 Jun 27, 2018 #2 Do not try and change your PH. All that does is stress the fish. Whatever your regular PH is, the fish will adapt to it. As for Nitrates, what filters are you running and how long have you had the tank?
