flowerhorn compatibility

i recently saw a small flowerhorn(3 inches) with beautiful color and im so tempted to buy

i was wondering what cichlids if any can work with this FH and what tank size might help with aggression

just what has and hasnt worked for you guy

Best by themselves. If your not willing to commit a tank. . . don't do it

no exceptions? even dovii can be kept with other cichlids if the tank is large enough

I wouldn't flowerhorn are very aggressive and you would need a very large tank with very large fish to mabey make it work

But, flowerhorn are a very rewarding and fun fish to keep

appreciate the advice i currently do have the fish isolated

i have my 220g set up with convicts and a green terror. i will be adding a eb jack, oscar, and a large pleco

i will introduce the flowerhorn with caution but im prepared to take him out

no they arnt, i was hoping to have less compatibility issues if i grew them together, although i know it isnt always the case

If that's the case than go ahead and add him but keep a very close eye on him and if he is not doing well, make sure you have something ready to move him to
