Flowerhorn doing somersaults..

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
if it looks like wildly uncoordinated somersaults and distress, its likely a problem with the swim bladder and/or associated bacterial conditions.

However, if she looks quite normal in terms of digging, feeding and behaviour otherwise; then it's probably just an odd quirk. I've seen more than one example of somersaults in amphs, which are along the same lines...any video?

She eats like a horse, she looks like she is marking her territory..

She is not stressed, showing full colours.

I'll get a video up asap

in that case, does she do it against objects? She could be simulating laying eggs, or again; just simply being a weirdo lol

I have a male bonsai that flips when under the filter current. Probably due to his short body.

Can someone explain this? She just swims around doing somersaults, and digging.

Is this normal?
Nah it's fine my flowerhorn does those all the time when u walk by or about to feed it I think it's excited
