Is it normal for a flowerhorn to dominate a tank. I have 100g that he shares with Midas and Jaguar among others. He used to be shy when he was younger, but now he owns the tank. Aren't jags supposed to be more aggressive? They're still all pretty young. The flowerhorn's about 5 inches, Midas 4 in, and Jaguar about 3 in. Will the Flowerhorn always dominate or will this change in the next few months?

flowerhorns are VERY VERY aggressive... and they grow very fast too... seeing how it already has the size advantage on the other 2 fish and is dominating the tank... that probably means it hoards most the food too.. flowerhorns are very fast growing as well, so my guess is going to have to be yes.

yeah he does eat a lot and he doesn't have a specific territory in the tank like the other fish. he pretty much patrols the whole tank! lol.

Your tank won't be able to accommodate all three for long though.

yeah. my parents have another 75 and a 150 g. I'm gonna put them in there when they get too big, but they have guppies in there! lol
