hi i am a new flowerhorn hobbyist. i am currently feeding my flowerhorn on this schedule: mon-tues is enhancement pellets like hikari, humpy head, etc. wed-thurs- no food (i do my water changes somewhere in this time period), friday-sunday- staple pellets ( new life spectrum medium fish formula) so far its so good, except for my flowerhorn is having trouble eating the new life spectrum pellets because they are dense. She spits them out and then goes to the bottom and picks up the crumbs. also, i try to fit blood worms in once a week, preferably within my friday-sunday feedings. i need advice as to any changes i need to make to my current feeding schedule, and how good it is.
Also, any better feeding schedule that has worked ( big kok and bright colors), plz post up lol. I dont intend on feeding my flowerhon live or frozen food, because of the risks. i only feed them pellets and freeze dried foods.
